About Me.
I am an actor and singer whose involvement began with my mother’s rehearsals after being brought from a young age. I thank her for being involved in theater. Watching her rehearsals I saw how theater can be healing for the audience and cast. In fact, in my toughest moments, the theater became a haven for normalcy. I realized that theater is a safe space and can be used to further challenging topic discussion.
I started acting with multiple small theaters in my area of Wisconsin. Through personal experience, I learned how to work with many directors. How to be in a small company with limited resources. How to take every audition or part and take it seriously. My training includes attending an Acting Intensive presented by Yale including working in masterclasses of character studies, clowning, and speech in movement. My education is in the Chicago-land area with a B.A. in Musical Theater with a Dance minor. Working with the Neo-Futurist on a teamed Devised show, featured in Constellations as Roland, and Puntam Couty Spelling Bee as Logainne U/S. I am developing my identity outside of the onstage roles. Taking classes in directing and design. Well also training in vocal techniques of the MT golden and modern styles.
In addition to acting I am devoted to dance. I am mainly a tap, contemporary, and musical theater dancer. Which also includes choreographing some small pieces. Since college, I began dancing as an art form and exploring meaning with dance. Dance is my creative outlet besides being an Actor.
